Bunbury

National Screen Printing comissioned a t-shirt design for a live print demonstration at a Cincinnati music festival, with the requirement that it reflect the city’s identity without incorporating any Bunbury branding. To create something uniquely recognizable, the idea of featuring the Cincinnati skyline was explored. During the research phase, the iconic signage of the Cincinnati Convention Center, familiar to anyone traveling along Interstate 75, stood out as a fresh and unexpected direction to take.

After developing and refining several layout options, the final typographic design was created in Photoshop. The result was a visually striking piece that resonated strongly with festivalgoers.

The design was so impactful that some attendees believed the Convention Center had actually changed its signage for the event.
